How To Order Using SLCWaiter.com

1. Choose the restaurant.
On the left side of the site, we have all of our Restaurants listed alphabetically and by cuisine. Select which restaurant you would like to view.

2. Choose the items you would like delivered.
After selecting your restaurant, you will be taken to a page that lists every item available for ordering. It is listed by Sub-Categories (i.e., appetizers, salads, soups, deserts, etc.)

This page also shows the hours that the restaurant is open and has a link to a printable PDF file to make it possible to see all the items the restaurant has to offer, with descriptions, options, and prices.

From here, you may select to go to the Sub-Category page or select a menu item and go directly to the Item Detail page.

Sub-Category Page – this page lists all the items in that Sub-Category with the item descriptions and starting prices. Select “More Information” to see the Item Detail page.

Item Detail Page – this page will often give the full description of an item with any options available to customize your item. Some options are optional while others are required. If you do not select a required option, the site will ask you to do so before adding that item to your cart.

At this stage, you are able to do a few special things:

  • A. Specify how many of each item you want

  • B. You may ask to have the item labeled with a name (great for large orders where everyone chose their own items)

  • C. Make special requests pertaining to that item, for example, NO ONIONS on your pasta. Requests in this area follow this basic rule; “Deletions; no problem in most cases, Additions or substitutions; may require additional costs.” Any additional costs associated with your special request will be explained when our Customer Service Representative calls you.

Select “Add To Cart“ to have item added to Shopping Cart.


Shopping Cart Page – this page lists all the items you have selected for purchase. Here you can verify the items you ordered and make changes if needed.

NOTE – If an item does not show up in the Shopping Cart, or if you have made a modification to an item, select “Update Cart“ to have your item list refreshed.

Now you are ready to place your order. Select “Place Order“ if you would like to order online.

3. Order online or call (801) 288-2201 and one of our friendly Customer Representatives will assist you.
If you order online, you will be asked to Log In. If you do not have an account already registered online, you will need to create one. Follow the links and directions the following page.

Once you have an online account with us, you are ready to place your order.

The shopping cart page allows you to do the following things:

  • A. Verify and/or modify your order. Please double check your order on this page carefully as this is the information that we will be using to place your order.

  • B. Verify and/or modify your delivery address information. Again, please check for accuracy.

  • C. Select a delivery date and time. If none is selected, we assume you would like the order immediately and will be contacting you shortly after you submit your order to confirm this and ALL information provided.

  • D. Specify any Special Delivery Request or Notes. Anything you would like to add that might make be beneficial or helpful for us to know like directions, parking instructions, gate codes, etc.

  • E. Use of Coupons or Special offers. From time to time, Salt Lake City Waiter offers coupons in the front of our Menu Guide. You are able to enter the coupon in this field; however, we are not able to subtract the amount from your online order total. Any coupons will be subtracted from your total when the Customer Service Representative contacts you. We are not able to accept coupons provided by any of our Restaurants.

4. Click “Place Order”
An email will be sent to the SLC Waiter office where one of our Customer Service Representatives will take your order, enter it into our system, and then call you with the confirmation that your order has been received.

PLEASE NOTE – If you do not hear from SLC Waiter, within 15 minutes, please call us at 801-288-2201.

ALSO NOTE our business hours are listed at the very top of the website. If you send an order while we are closed, we will contact you as soon as we open the following day.

During the confirmation call, the following things will happen:

  • A. Confirmation of Customer Information. We will verify that we have all the correct information to get the order delivered; address, date and time for advanced orders, etc.

  • B. Confirmation of Items Ordered. We will read back to you everything listed in your order, confirm options requested, special changes, etc.

  • C. Confirmation of Total Price. Any modifications to an item that results in a change in your total price will be clarified at this time. Any coupons requested will be processed by your Customer Service Representative who will update and notify you of your new total.

The amount given during this conversation will be the total given to the Delivery Driver and will be expected to be collected at time of delivery.

5. Payment arraignments
We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, travelers’ checks and SLC Waiter Gift Cards. The Customer Service Representative will ask for your credit card details so that we may pre-authorize the charge. We do not take credit card information over the website because the Delivery Driver will need to see the credit card and swipe it though our wireless credit card terminals. The Card Holder will sign a credit card receipt at the time of delivery.

We only accept checks under pre-approved conditions.

6. Quote for time of delivery.
Generally, our delivery times are about 45 to 60 minutes. However, there are factors that may increase the wait; traffic and weather conditions, number of orders in process at the time, how busy the restaurant is, number of items ordered, distance of customer from restaurant, etc. Your Customer Service Representative will tell you when you can expect your order to arrive.

7. Wait in the comfort of wherever you may be. Your order is on the way.
This is where most of our customers find the value in our service. You may be at your home, hotel or business and do not want to leave to get a good quality restaurant meal. Order from Salt Lake City waiter and the food comes to you.

8. What to expect at time of delivery.

Our Delivery Drivers carefully ensure your meal is complete and correct; they check, pack, carry, drive, locate you and park with your meal as fast and as carefully as possible. Upon their arrival, they will collect payment, hand over your order, and provide you with a Napkin Set, which includes plates, forks, knives, napkins as well as a complete and current version of our Menu Guide.

9. Enjoy your meal.
